Great asian restaurant in a business area of Tel Aviv. There are many nice restaurants and they are always packed with people. This one has a nice atmosphere and great food. We tried the thai menu, great soup, nice fresh salads and great noodle dishes. Warning, the mains are massive, you can easily share one between two or even three people. The desserts are also good, especially the Chocolate!!! (their exclamation marks, not mine), really decadent and delicious!!!

Great place for breakfast in Tel Aviv Marina. I recomend the Middle Eastern breakfast with mint lemonade and a selection of salads and vegetables. The setting is great, next to the sea side, at weekends is always busy with locals, not just tourists... A nice walk alongside the marina is a must after the big breakfast. There is a farmer´s market next door on Friday morning. Parking is the only problem, try to walk or use alternative transport if you can.

Great fish restaurant in the newly regenerated Tel Aviv Port. As usual you could eat just with the salads served as a starter, they are delicious and quite healthy. Before you go in make sure that they have aubergine in tahini (with lots of garlic), it is a whole aubergine dipped in garlic overnight and covered in tahini, it is out of this world! For a main dish I recommend any of the main fish dishes (buri is good, not sure of the name in English), one main is normally fine for 2 or even 3 people, depending on how hungry you are. It is great to sit outside on a summer evening enjoying the sea breeze and a glass of cold white wine.

Torso is a must if you happen to be in Tel Aviv. A small shop not far from Dizengoff Square with a great selection of funky t-shirts and sweat-shirts. The designs are unusual bordering on quirky, I haven't seen anything like it anywhere else in the world. The staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

A new, very expanded version of downtown Tel Aviv's little Agadir Burger Bar/Restaurant on the Nahlat Binyamin Pedestrian Mall, which is famous for the best burgers and the most inventive toppings in town, this location has groupings of eclectic sofas and easy chairs as well as more standard tables, which in good weather spread into an outdoor deck. If you eat here during the day, or before the place morphs into its bar incarnation at night, the menu includes tempura shrimp, spicy North African merguez sausages, salads, and chicken soup with veal dumplings. The hamburgers, in varying sizes, can be topped with additions such as portobello mushrooms; spiced goose breast; assorted herbs, spices, and chili butter; goat cheese; or guacamole. The nightly bar scene is young and busy.

On the bohemian Basel area surrounded by cafes and fancy shops, a small music shop for jazz and blues lovers. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, here you can find out about the local jazz scene and where to go to listen to live music.
