The SPRMRKT concept store, opened in this former supermarket in 2003, resembling a New York style loft space the store specialises in design classics of mid century modern designer furniture, they have a fast moving extensive collection which takes in retro furniture, lighting, rugs and interior accessories from the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's. There's an interesting selection of vintage Dutch furniture by designers like Pierre Paulin at Artifort and Gispen alongside international names from the period such as Arne Jacobsen, Charles and Ray Eames, Verner Panton, B & B Italia and Nana Ditzel.
Alongside vintage and retro design are current and vintage fashion labels for men and women, Dutch jewellery designers collections including Mippies and rotating exhibitions (six weekly), collectors artbooks and music complete the lifestyle experience.
