fine cheap italian
There are quite a few of them in Madrid. They are all pretty much the same. Fine pasta and better pizzas, quite nice Italian decoration, and good prices: less than 15€ each.

Very good pasta and pizzas
Here you can have great fish dishes. The fish is taken from the best fish market in Spain, and you can notice it. They are prepared in a very simple way, without unnecessary sophistications.
The negative aspect, it is quite expensive, and the decoration is terrible.

Its a company which delivers quite good pizzas to your place in 30 minutes. Kind of "Pizza Hut", but far better pizzas. It has establishments all over Spain, where you can eat the pizza in a young, modern atmosphere, but also quite cold, as in most fast-food places. It's funny that you can see through a glass how they prepare the dough of the pizza.
Anyway, I recommend to order one to your place. Perfect for a day you want to watch a film or a match on TV.

delicious pizzas
Delicious pizzas in a very small but charming place. Just in front of the Retiro park. They have an interesting fuse of italian food with an argentinian touch. Perfect place to have lunch or early dinner after a nice walk in the wonderful park of the Retiro.

italian dinner in a cave
It's a very cool place, very nice for a romantic, not too expensive dinner. It gives the impression it has been built in a cave, all painted in white. It has wonderful pizzas and pasta.
