This feature allows you to follow what’s happening in cities, neighborhoods, countries and any other geographic area available on 1187.com. This is useful when, for example, you want to be updated of new and popular places in your city or to keep an eye on place where you’re planning a vacation. You can follow as many locations as you like!

To start following cites and other geographical areas on 11870.com, all you have to do is click on the star next to the name. You can find the area page by searching for it, or you can click on the name of it when you’re at the 11870.com page for a service in that area.

When you click on the star you’ll be asked to confirm, the window looks like this:

Once you’ve started following a location this is how you see it:

You can always stop following a city or location by clicking on the gold star. You’ll be prompted to confirm your choice (see the image below) and then the star will be gray again. Easy!

If, when on your homepage, you click on the tab for “cities” you’ll see all the locations that you’ve saved services in. They’re organized directory-style, listed under their respective provinces, countries, etc. The number in parenthesis is for the amount of services that you’ve saved in that area.

By clicking on “followed locations“, you’ll see only the places that you’ve chosen to follow.

Whenever something happens in an area you follow, you’ll see it highlighted in your home page. The phrase “new entries!” will appear next to the name of the area at the bottom right hand side of your home page.
