Everyone wants to be more than just a webpage! On 11870.com you can, of course, edit your profile (public name, image and ‘about me’ description) and personal data as many times as you feel like it. You can change your password too, and change the type of e-mails you get from us whenever you want. Also, you can see how long you’ve been an 11870.com user ;-)

To do any of the above, just click on the text “edit profile“. It’s under your user name (next to your profile picture, at the top of the page). You’ll find this option on the upper right hand corner of the page as well, between your user name and the “add a service” option.

By clicking on “edit profile” and then on “view your profile” you’ll be able to view and edit several things:

• The address you chose for your page.
• Your user name. This is the name you go by on 11870.com, you can change it at any time. You can use your given name or any nickname you like. It’s always good to use something that your friends can recognize you by.
• Your profile picture. See your current one or change it. Like with your user name, choose whatever you think suits you best!
• Your description. This is a space on your page where you can tell people who see your profile about yourself: your hobbies, likes and dislikes, or whatever you feel like saying.
• The time you’ve been on 11870.com

When you click on “edit profile” and then on “configure your personal data” you’ll be able to modify:

• Your name and surname. Remember, this information isn’t public on the page, it’s only on our database.
• Your e-mail address. This is the address we send all your messages and notifications to, apart from being the e-mail address you enter when logging in to 11870.com
• Your password. Who knows? You might want to change it from time to time…
• OpenID. If you have one, you can use it to log in to 11870.com (Read more about OpenID)

By clicking on “edit profile” and then “change e-mail preferences” you can choose the type of notifications you would like to receive from 11870.com

Here are your options

• To not receive any e-mails at all from 11870.com, which means you won’t get anything. Please note that you won’t be notified when other users add you as a contact or send you a message you from the site. You won’t receive information on updates either.
• Unsubscribe from the newsletter. This means you won’t get our monthly newsletter.
• Only allow my contacts to get in touch with me. This means only your friends on 11870.com can contact you through the page.
