Good pizza by Madrid standards, at reasonable prices. This is the restaurant version. There's a quick lunch-counter style place on Hortaleza street that I prefer. It's also a Vesubio.

Good place to meet friends for cañas and tapas. Gets crowded, but the atmosphere is worth waiting for a table. Smoky.

not bad, but beware of the cover charge
Large, welcoming and with lots of light - I can see Nina as a place for brunch. Yet I've only been there for regular lunch on a weekday. It became quite full as 2pm became 3pm.
The daily menu seemed a bit insipid, but ordering a la carte was a good choice. There's a bit of creativity and sophistication to their food that so many restaurants I know lack. This was not the pinnacle of my dining experiences, but it was very enjoyable and I'd recommend it to anyone willing to spend a more than 25€ (or not eat much). The daily menu was cheaper, of course.
Something I find terribly distasteful though, is that you have to pay a cover charge here. This cover charge, as the maitre explained, is for the bread and a little "tapa" they give you. I think it's sneaky on their part to place something on your table that you haven't ordered, making it look complementary, and then charge you for it. On top of it I didn't even touch mine, still I'm paying 2+ euros for it... grrr.

Superb vegetarian take-out buffet & organic food shop. The only thing I dislike about it is the size: it's too small!
Pay by weight: 2,10€ for every 100 grams of food on your plate.
Try the Indian tortilla.
