tacos w/o the wrestling parafernalia
I love Mexican food, unfortunately it hasn't been easy since a) I had Mexican food in Mexico b) I became a vegetarian.
I'd eyed the menu of this trendy looking restaurant a couple of times when walking through Chueca and I've finally had a chance to try it out. In contrast with the well-worn and colorful look of other Mexican restaurants in Madrid, Tepic presents food in neat, white dishes. There's nothing unusual with the menu: tacos, guacamole, sopes, etc. Not very spicy unless you ask for a spicier salsa. Still, the quality is very good and they have two VEGETARIAN taco options.
I was also able to order my 'agua de jamaica' without added sugar... this made me unbelievably happy.

Mexican food store
Carries an assortment of typical mexi-foods (Modelo beer, corn chips, chiles, mole sauce, etc.) and some fun wrestling merchandise. Their guacamole's nice... and slightly hot. It's more of a deli than a supermarket, which reflects on the prices (you can probably shop cheaper elsewhere).
All in all, this is a good place to visit if you're throwing a party and want to serve something with a little pizazz.
