Elvis's Grilled Banana & Peanut Butter Sandwich
The Arcade Cafe is the oldest Cafe in Memphis which opened in 1919 and is still in the same family. I ran into this place a few years ago and I finally made it back for their classic sandwich after visiting Graceland a few miles away.
Now if I lived here, I would only come here once a year or if I had guests visiting from out of town. The location is nice, a revitalized section of downtown, a few blocks from the mighty Mississippi River and at the end of the old fashion trolley system.
As for the food, I have only eaten the Elvis Grilled Banana & Peanut Butter Sandwich. For $6.95 it's a bit pricey but the atmosphere and the fact that you are in Memphis close to Graceland...well how often will that be?
From here it's a matter of jumping onto the trolley and heading to the heart of Memphis.

Where to meet or wait at the Atocha Train Station
Since the station is huge I highly recommend the Wine Plaza as a meeting spot. It's located in front of the Turtle Pond in the Botanical Garden area. You can sit down, enjoy a nice glass of wine as you wait and watch the people go by.

A very unique and different place from all other attractions. Worth a visit if you are near the Costa Blanca.
The best Bed and Breakfast in Costa Blanca!
This is my favorite Bed and Breakfast near to Benidorm and Altea without the craziness. The views are amazing and the hospitality is warm and inviting. After staying here you will feel like family. It's a 5 bedroom B&B in an old traditional house but each room is like a modern oasis with flat screen tv/dvd and wonderful showers. If you want to try and feel like you are in old charming Spain, this is the place away from the tourist trap high rises found along the beach.

An unusual place for a bite to eat
London is an amazing city with tons of people, attractions, shops and restaurants. The Crypt however stands alone. As you approach St Martin-in-the-Fields Church from Trafalgar Square, head up the entrance stairs and into the right hand door from the main doors (of the church). Go down that steps and you will find yourself in the vaulted crypt with tombstones under your feet!
The Cafe offers a full English breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and candlelight dinners. Make sure you check out their website for schedules of more than 150 candlelit concerts every year.
As for the food... I was there last week and had the full English breakfast. I traditionally eat a simple breakfast of toast/croissant with jam and coffee. To have scrambled eggs, sausage, beans, black pudding (morcilla), mushroom, a whole cooked tomato and toast was a little overwhelming for me. The atmosphere by far is the reason to go there and maybe listen to some music and have dessert.

A little taste of sweetness
For all lovers of Alfajores, there is a Havanna Cafe in Barcelona next door to the Cafe Zurich by Plaza Catalunya. To those who are not familiar with alfajores, they are a sweet snack from Argentina- a dulce de leche (caramel) filling between two cookies covered in chocolate or powder sugar. The alfajores are 1,60 euro and you can have a great cup of coffee while enjoying a taste of the South. You can even buy jars of their dulce de leche!
