The Birdcage

this is such a funny night out and is definitly a place to come to if you want people of all ages and a good atmosphere. although the club seems quite expensive, for a night out at the weekend in manchester the price is average. (it´s usually around 10pounds to get in and unlike in spain it is almost non existent to recieve a free drink with this price entrance fee).

the club is quite big and all on one floor. there are 2 bars inside and there are also booths that you can hire for a price and with that comes waiter service and front row seats to possibly the most important aspect of this club....the drag queens. At the front of the club there is a stage which everybody can dance on (no drinks allowed) and also 2 poles at either side. However, every hour the stage is cleared and drag queens perform a song. last tiem i went the performances ranged from dream girls to spice girls to shirley bassey.

this club is really fun and has one of the best nights out i´ve had in terms of all round atmosphere...i definitly recommend it if you want a laugh.
