Castlefield

A short walk away from the city centre (or train stop Deansgate) and you arrive in Castlefield. Although there´s mainly flats in this area there are some really nice bars such as Dukes 92 (most serve food) and is a great area to sit outisde, enjoy a relaxing drink on a summer´s day and watch the barges go past along the canal.

From here you can see up close, the tallest building in Manchester - the Beetham Tower which is home to The Hilton Hotel and apartments.
