Imperial War Museum North

This is one of the most interesting museums I have been to in a long time. Based in a modern building with a tank right outside the door, this museum has lots of interesting facts, stories and memorabilia on wars both past and present.

Theres lots of interactive things to do and there is also a video show which features a montage of interviews of people´s experiences during the war. There are planes and cars suspended in the air as well as replica tanks and many other things.

There is a shop which has lots of books on the war and many other realated things. If you go outside and take the lift then from there you can clearly see Old Trafford Stadium and The Lowry Museum and the surrounding areas of Salford and Trafford....not great however if you don´t like heights as through the floor you can see below.
