The George Hotel

Situated in the picturesque Highland town of Inveraray the George Hotel was an old coaching inn. After a visit to the now famous tourist attraction of the Old Jail next door, it is worth stopping for a drink, coffee or a delicious lunch in the hotel.

One quaint wood panelled room leads on to another and finally (if you wish) to sit by the roaring log fire. There is also a patio where you can enjoy a spot of lunch in the summer if the weather permits.

The service is friendly, it is very atmospheric, the food is tasty with good sized portions and reasonably priced.
