For casual gourmet dining in Glasgow there is no better place than The Bouzy Rouge Restaurant,(Sea food and grill) 111 West Regent Street. The interior is very atmospheric as it has retained many of the original features of the building from its past life as a bank. First impressions such as lavish chandeliers, tiled walls, crisp white table cloths and fresh flowers on the tables raise expectations and these are met by gourmet prepared food and young, friendly, attentive staff -nothing is too much bother for them.
Dinner costs from £22-£26 but for real value for money lunch or an early evening pre-Theatre will make the day special.
The wine list is extensive. You will be treated with the utmost courtesy whether you buy a glass of wine or whether you opt for one of the bottles at £100. There is also a list of fine malt whiskies which can be sampled.
