on of the better meat restaurants
Restaurante argentino.

Great seafood
I was taken to this place by a colleague.
The restaurant is the typical parisian restaurant de fruits de mer.
The seafood platter was excellent (oysters, langostines, gambas, and various other shellfish...too many to mention).
The main course I had (monkfish) was a little overcooked to my liking. Other than that, the wine and the service was impeccable.

Best paellas
I read about this place in a very small and unknown guide. You will notice that the venue is not the most spectacular (i.e. it is not next to the sea) but you will not be disappointed. Their specialty is of course rice dishes, which shows on their menu. There are several types of paellas on the menu, but three of them are truly spectacular: The first is called "arroz caldoso de bogavante". This is a soupy rice dish with lobster. The rice is cooked with the lobster in it, which is subsequently removed. You can chomp away at the lobster pieces and enjoy the rice afterwards. The next one is the traditional seafood paella. You can order this one with the seafood already peeled (I always forget what it is called Perelada or Parellada, or something like that), or if you prefer, the crustaceans still have their jacket on, and you can get stuck in with your fingers. Thirdly, is the vegetable paella, which is really amazing! One last thing about paellas. It is very difficult to find a restaurant that will make a paella for less than 2 people. Here in Arrocería Xátiva they serve individual paella, which means that you can taste different ones in the same sitting!!
Here, again, I would choose the white wine called Perelada. If you want to try a different one, however, there are two more that are worth it: One is the Torres Cabernet Sauvignon, or if you want to splash out a little more, there is a wine from Galicia (North West Spain) called Albariño, which tastes fantastic with seafood. A very good Albariño is called Terras Gauda, but there are less-expensive ones too. Don't miss the little shot glass-sized home made liquers they serve.
Call them in advance!!!!

Possibly the best Burger I have ever eaten...seriously
I know what you are thinking...best burger in Hull??? Yes. Now, the last time I was there was probably 1997John Science has since franchised the léace, and there are more restaurants. The original one is on Hessle road. See this link for more details:
www.thisisull.com/people/855973026_cillajohnscienced.html
The fries are thick, perfectly crispy on the outside and almost creamy on the inside. The sauces are authentic (Heinz Ketchup and French's mustard). The burgers are perfectly cooked with great attention to detail.
It is wirth driving to Hull just to have lunch here.

Great service, and great product
Of course there is the option of buying off the peg. Nevertheless, if you are willing to spend a bit more (and wait a little longer), you have the Su Misura option.
I tried it once and no I have every suit and shirts made to measure here (I don't buy many suits, and the EZ product is made to last) . Ask for Muki, he has been in the business for years and has a lot of experience. He gives excellent advice on what fabics to choose and how the suit should fit.
You will not regret it.

great creative menu and fantastic value
If you are around the Bailen and Industria area for lunch, stop by here. You will not be disappointed. The menu is creative and varied. The cooking style is not Michelin level, but the cooks create the dishes with a clear love for food. The fact that the owner always comes out to ask what you think of the food scores many points for this restaurant.
I don't hink you will be disappointed.

well needed this in Sant Cugat

nice for lunch
had lunch here a few minutes ago.
Starter: "Moroccan salad" which was a timbale of Cous Cous with vegetables. Simple, nothing special
Main course: Grilled vegetables with red pesto. Salt overkill, but the idea is nice.
Dessert: Greek yoghurt with fresh peaches. Very nice fresh finish
Price: 10 Euros.
Service is very polite and professional.
Not bad.

Moeders significa madres.
